Alton Stewart Pattison

ALTON STEWART PATTISON, 89, a lifelong resident of Pattison, Texas, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019, in Sealy.

Alton was born October 9, 1929, in Pattison, Texas, the son of Rollins and Meta (Wendt) Pattison. He was a technical sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving his country from 1952-1960. Alton was united in marriage to Charlotte England on January 4, 1963, in Brookshire, Texas. He and Charlotte continued to make their home in Pattison where he was a member of Pattison United Methodist Church. Alton was self-employed as a farmer and rancher. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post #9182 in Katy and enjoyed fishing and duck hunting.

Alton is survived by his wife: Charlotte Pattison of Pattison; daughters: Deborah Pattison of Moulton and Karen Pattison of Decatur; niece: Kaye Shearer of Pattison; and nephew: Keith Tingle of CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Sadie Tingle; and two half-sisters.
