He is survived by his beloved wife, Delfina, who shared many years of companionship and love with him in Brookshire. Amado was a proud father to six children: Susana Martinez (Omar) of Brookshire, Amado Barrientos (Ana) of Sealy, Ana Cristina Barrientos of Brookshire, Bibiana Barrientos (Joseph Arbizu) of Brookshire, Rosalio Barrientos (Angelica) of Needville, and Andrea Barrientos of Brookshire. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy: Omar Jr., Alexandra, Catalina, Andres, Nichole, Sophia, Evelyn, Sebastian, and Santiago. As well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Amado was also part of a larger family, cherished by his siblings Atanacio Barrientos, Maria Barrientos, and Esperanza Arcibar. Together, they shared countless memories that will forever hold a place in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelio and Guadalupe Barrientos, and by his siblings Romona, Florencio, Isabel, Agustin and Gabriel. The loss of these family members weighed heavily on his heart, yet he carried their memories with him throughout his life.
Amado Barrientos Briones leaves behind a rich legacy of love, dedication, and hard work that will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of sharing in his life’s journey.
