Anthony Michael Escobar

With heavy hearts and deep respect, we announce the passing of Anthony Michael Escobar, who left us suddenly on July 13, 2026, in East Bernard, Texas. Born on March 12, 1994, in Houston, Texas, Anthony’s 32 years were marked by dedication, warmth, and an enduring love for his family and passions.

Anthony was the cherished son of Juan De Dios Garcia and Noris G. Escobar Garcia. He spent his early childhood years in Houston, a city that shaped the beginning of his journey. At the age of eight, Anthony, alongside his devoted family, moved to Bellville, where he grew up and built lifelong memories.

A skilled and trusted mechanic at TA Truck Center, Anthony’s work was a reflection of his diligence and integrity. Coworkers and friends remember his willingness to lend a hand and his deep knowledge of his craft. His commitment to his profession was only matched by the joy he found in spending time with those he loved.

Anthony’s life was enriched by many passions. He was an avid soccer enthusiast, and his competitive spirit extended to the pool table, the cinema, and countless video game adventures. Shopping trips and visits to the mall with his beloved wife, Rita, were among his favorite ways to spend his time. Holidays were always special, as Anthony took great pride in cooking festive meals with Rita, celebrating every occasion with laughter and delicious food. Whether traveling or enjoying a peaceful day at the beach, Anthony’s zest for life was evident to everyone around him. He also had a particular fondness for Best Buy, often browsing the latest in technology and gadgets. Fishing was his best way to relax and unwind.

He was a devoted father to his son, Ian G. Escobar, and a loving stepfather to Alejandra Nicolle Vindel. Family bonds meant everything to Anthony, and his affection extended to a wide circle of relatives. He is survived by his mother, Noris Garcia; brothers Juan Angel Garcia and Kevin Garcia; nieces Fabiola, Denisse, and Melanie; nephews Geizel, Rodrigo, and Samuel; and his mother-in-law, Rita Emerita Irias. His sisters-in-law, Karina Vera, Fabiola Vindel, and Marbella Matute, along with brothers-in-law Jorge Vindel, Javier Vindel, and Denis Mejia, mourn his loss, as do his grandfather, Joaquin Escobar, aunts Guadalupe Garcia, Norma Fuentes, and Maura Escobar, and uncles Ernesto Garcia, Fredy Escobar, Eulin Escobar, Jary Escobar, Dognir Escobar, and Nelvin Escobar; and numerous other family and dear friends.

Anthony’s memory will also be cherished by the extended family, who take solace in recalling his kindness and sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan De Dios Garcia, and his grandmother, Nohemi Zenovia Martinez, whose love for Anthony shaped much of his life.

Anthony Michael Escobar’s legacy is one of devotion—to his work, his family, and the simple joys of life. His absence leaves a profound void, yet his spirit and the memories he made will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
