Bobby Scogin

Bobby Scogin, 69, of Elgin, Texas, passed away in Cat Spring, TX, Thursday, June 3, 2021.

Bobby was born February 2, 1952, in Nacogdoches, Texas, the son of Raymond and Juanita (Campbell) Scogin. He proudly served in the United States Army. After his service, Bobby became a carpenter. He was often found utilizing his skills to help those in need. In his spare time, he loved animals and hot rods.

Bobby is survived by his sons: Bobby Scogin, II and his wife, Ute, of Killeen, Clay Scogin of Madisonville, William Howard and his wife, Megan, of Elgin; and his daughter: Sarah Gonzalez and her husband, Jamie, also of Elgin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Juanita Scogin.
