Carolyn Ann Scardino Luckie

Carolyn Scardino Luckie, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 30, 2026. She was born on June 3,1937, in Houston, Texas,and most recently resided in Bellville, Texas. Carolyn was the beloved daughter of Andrew M.Scardino, Sr. and Carrie Danna Scardino.

Carolyn attended St. Anne Catholic School, St. Agnes Academy at the Fannin location, and St. Thomas University, all in Houston, Texas. As a young woman, she was involved with Theater Incorporated in Houston, where her wonderful singing voice was showcased. She later worked at Allstate Insurance Company for many years, where she was a dedicated and valued employee.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughters, Carol Luckie Maluski and her husband Jeff Maluski, and Rachel Luckie. She was a devoted aunt to Andrew M. Scardino III, Dick Scardino, Laurie Scardino Helm, Cindy Scardino Wilson, and Carrie Scardino Consolvo.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew M. Scardino, Jr. and his wife Jeannette; her brother, Marion T. Scardino II; her nephew, Brad Scardino; and her best friend, J.L. Scardino.

Carolyn's warmth, strength, and sense of family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She had a great love of dogs and rescued many, a passion she shared with and instilled in both her daughters. Carolyn also treasured her lifetime of memories of times spent on Galveston Island with her cousins, Tom and Floreine Scardino, and their wonderful children.

Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends.
