Darwin Rodriguez, a cherished son, brother, and devoted family member, passed away on April 28, 2026, in Brookshire, Texas. Born on November 17, 2005, in Houston, Texas, Darwin brought joy and warmth to all who knew him with his fun-loving spirit and deep devotion to family.
A graduate of Royal High School, Darwin was known for his vibrant personality and wide range of interests. He found happiness on the soccer field, in the immersive worlds of video games, and through his adventurous palate as he explored new restaurants and cuisines. Equally passionate about spending quality time with friends, watching movies, and baking, he treasured every moment shared with his loved ones, especially his little brother Mateo, with whom he had a special bond.
Darwin’s love and dedication to family were central to his life. He is survived by his proud father, Celestino Rodriguez; loving mother, Leticia Rodriguez; devoted sister, Marylin Rodriguez; and his brothers, Rylan and Mateo Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Leopolado Corral, and grandmother, Magdalena Rodriguez, whose memories he carried in his heart.
Services to honor Darwin’s life will begin with a Viewing on May 5, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 AM at 29425 Stockdick Rd., Katy, Texas. Following the Viewing, a Rosary will be held at the same location from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The following day, a Mass celebrating Darwin’s life will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4445 Farm to Market 359, Pattison, Texas, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a burial at Brookshire Memorial Oaks Cemetery, located at 1699 Sturm Ln, Brookshire, Texas.
Darwin’s passing leaves a profound void, yet his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His fun, loving nature and his commitment to those he cared for so deeply serve as a lasting legacy, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing him to cherish each moment and each relationship. May he rest in peace.
