IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donna Lynn (Arnold)
Thompson
December 19, 1948 – February 9, 2026
Donna Lynn (Arnold) Thompson, born on December 19, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, in Graham, Texas. Donna was a beloved daughter, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother whose impact on those surrounding her will be felt for generations to come.
She was the daughter of Orban Ray and Carmen Arnold, and after the passing of her mother when Donna was just 4 years old, Evilee Arnold raised her as her own. She is survived by her loving daughter, Rhea Ann (Gary) Baker, and Natalie Sero, who carries forward Donna’s legacy of warmth and kindness. A deeply loving grandmother, Gaga took great joy in her grandchildren: Jacob Preston (Jill) Thompson, Meaghan (Colby) Williams, Kelly (Jeff) Harris, Laura (Stephen) Lamb, Tyler (Jordan Walton) Baker, Sara (Danny) Williams, and Jill (Jesse) McGinnis. She also celebrated the joy of her great-grandchildren, Makayla Lamb, Jeremy Lamb, Kaitlynn Lamb, Serenity McGinnis, Bella McGinnis, Sophia Williams, Damion Williams, Theodore Williams, Lyla Williams, James Thompson, Josephine Jackson, Allie Thompson, Jack Harris, Annie Harris, Jonah Walton, Evelynn Walton, Aldrik Walton, Alustriel Walton, along with special blessings on the way. She is also survived by her special daughters: Romi Schwartz, Michelle Feldtman, and Dawn Hearn.
Donna pursued a successful career as a Real Estate Broker and was the proud owner of DLT Realtors, where she built lasting relationships with her clients and community. Her compassion extended beyond real estate, then became a grant writer working at Faith Academy, where her husband, Preston, was a PE Coach. She touched many lives through her hobbies and interests, such as quilting, fishing, camping, tending to her chickens, painting, playing bingo, and Mexican Train.
Those who knew her often described her as "beautiful inside and out," a testament to the genuine spirit she embodied. A dedicated student, Donna graduated from Hooker High School in 1966 and went on to earn an associate’s degree from El Paso Community College in Real Estate, furthering her knowledge and passion for life.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Preston Thompson, her parents, Orban Ray and Carmen Stanhope Arnold, and her siblings: Janet, Linda, Sharon, Jamie, and Charlie. The loss of these family members contributed to the deep love and connections Donna cultivated in her own family, ensuring her legacy of love, resilience, and strength would prevail. As we remember Donna Lynn (Arnold) Thompson, we celebrate a life well-lived and the indelible mark she made on the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will forever be cherished by all whose lives she touched.
A special Thank You to the staff at AVIR at Bellville, Dr. Christophe Gay, the staff at Graham Oaks Care Center, Beyond Faith Hospice, Nikki and Jessica, for caring for Donna during her final days here on Earth.
