Robert Howell “Bob” Faber passed from this Earth on March 5, 2026, at the home he built with his own hands in Hempstead, Texas.
He was a son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a doctor, teacher, mentor, and choir leader. Bob lived a life of love for family, faith, and teaching.
Bob was born in Charlevoix, Michigan, on March 24, 1949. He was the son of Earl and Mildred Kirkwood Faber. While in High School, he competed in track and performed in the band. He is a 1967 graduate of Greenville High School in Greenville, Michigan. He went on to graduate from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree and continued his education at Parker College of Chiropracting where he was a Delta Sigma Chi and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1987.
He met his wife, Dana Faber, at Parker College in Irving, Tx and they have been married since 1985, with 41 years of marriage this year. After leaving his practice in Arizona, he dedicated the next 4 decades to teaching music, chemistry, physics, and extended learning.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2325 Mayer Waller Rd in Waller, Texas.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with Bishop Dr. Harold Black officiating.
He is survived by his wife Dana Faber of Hempstead, TX; daughters, Sasha McPherson of Magnolia, TX, Victoria Bell of Bellville, TX and Rebecca Broussard (Jared) of Houston, TX; sons, Robert Faber II (Melinda) of Tustin, CA, James Faber of Houston, TX and Jacob Faber (Isabelle) of Houston, TX; brothers, Kirk Faber of MI, Terry Faber of MI and William Faber of MI; 13 grandchildren, Elizabeth Faber, Sophia Faber, Evelyn Faber, Alexander Fowler, Andrew McCorkle, Michael McCorkle, Robert Bell, Zachary Bell, Jessica Broussard, Eleanor Broussard, Brantley Broussard, Wyatt Faber and Jasper Faber.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Earl Faber and Mildred Kirkwood Faber; daughter Jessica Alise Faber; son Sean Michael Faber; and granddaughter Reagan Hope Broussard.
