Hector John Martinez

Hector John Martinez, 59, of Sealy, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on April 17, 2026. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the beloved son of the late Pedro Tinerfe Martinez and Evangelina Mercedes Martinez.

Hector was a man of great warmth who truly enjoyed the company of others. He had a gift for conversation and genuinely loved connecting with people from all walks of life. He found peace and fulfillment in the simple joys of life, whether he was camping, tending to his garden, working on his cars, or dedicated to a project around the house. Above all, he was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and his faithful companions: Peter, Sally, and Archie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro, and his mother, Evangelina.

Hector is survived by his devoted spouse, Dawn Martinez; his sons, Jesse Martinez and Christopher Martinez; his grandson, Castiel; and his siblings, Peter Martinez, Vivian Morales, and Eduardo "Eddie" Martinez. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
