Jennie Wee Beckman Mobley, a devoted nurse and cherished member of her community, passed away on December 13, 2025, in Conroe, Texas. Born on September 8, 1930, in Industry, Texas, she was the daughter of Alvin and Ella Louisa Juergens Beckman.
Jennie's early life was deeply rooted in the charming town of Industry, where she grew up and cultivated a profound love for her family and community. A proud graduate of Bellville High School, Jennie dedicated her professional life to nursing and even became known as the neighborhood nurse, which she used to embody compassion and care throughout her career. Her work in the field touched countless lives, reflecting her unwavering commitment to helping others. Throughout her life, Jennie fostered an enduring relationship with the Industry Methodist Church, where she was an active member. She also participated in the Fairway Village Garden Club, where her passion for gardening flourished, allowing her to share her love for nature with friends and fellow members while being surrounded by her favorite flowers, azaleas. Jennie's personal life was filled with warmth and joy, especially during her cherished moments fishing with her grandchildren and engaging in spirited games of dominoes, particularly the game of 42. These activities not only brought her joy but also strengthened her bonds with her family.
Jennie is survived by her loving daughter, Cynthia Jan Brasher, and her fiancé, David Lymberopoulos; her grandsons, Justin Ryan (Brittany) Brasher and Jace Tanner (Jamie) Brasher; and her great-granddaughter, Jenevieve Brasher, who was lovingly named after Jennie. These family members carry forward her legacy of love and dedication.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter J. Meinen; her second husband, Charles Thomas Mobley; her parents, Alvin and Ella Louisa Juergens Beckman; her sister, Idel Schwecke; and her brother, Robert Paul Beckman. Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved Jennie.
