Jimmie Reinicke

Jimmie George Reinicke, 75, of Sealy, passed away May 4, 2026, in Katy, Texas.

He was born on August 10, 1950, to George and Lenora Reinicke of Bellville, Texas. Jimmie was an inquisitive child growing up and enjoyed knowing how things worked, which led him to pursue a career as a mechanic. Jimmie graduated from Bellville High School and went on to earn a degree from TSTC in Waco. His commitment to his craft as a diesel mechanic for Stewart and Stevenson reflected his strong work ethic and dedication.

Beyond his career, Jimmie was an avid gun collector and a history enthusiast, which provided him with fulfillment and joy. He also loved traveling and camping across the lower fifty states. Playing cards and board games was another of his favorite pastimes with family and friends.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lenora Reinicke, his beloved first wife Karen Mazurkiewicz Reinicke, their children Wendel, Derrick, and Max Reinicke, and his beloved second wife Joyce Hartwick Reinicke. Though these cherished family members have passed on, Jimmie leaves behind numerous family members and dear friends who will remember him fondly and carry his spirit in their hearts.

The community will gather to honor Jimmie’s life with a visitation on May 20, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed immediately by a Memorial Service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Both will be held at Schmidt Funeral Home - Bellville, located at 12029 Hwy 36 S, PO Box 610, Bellville, TX 77418.

Jimmie George Reinicke’s presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
