Johnnie Wayne Supak, of San Felipe, a beloved figure in the community and a dedicated operator in the oil and gas industry, passed away on September 27, 2025, in Sealy, Texas. Born on May 31, 1959, in Eagle Lake, Texas, he was a proud graduate of Bellville High School, class of 1977.
Johnnie was known for his warm smile and playful sense of humor. He had a remarkable ability to lighten the mood with his jokes and cheerful demeanor. His laughter and spirit touched the lives of many who knew him.In his leisure time, Johnnie pursued his passions for fishing and hunting, where he found peace and joy. He also had a flair for BBQ, and he thoroughly enjoyed competing in BBQ cook-offs, bringing friends and family together around the grill.
His legacy will be cherished by those who had the pleasure of sharing these moments with him.Johnnie is survived by his loving siblings: Betty (Olin) Weems, Alfred "Billy" (Sharyn) Supak, Kenneth (Julie) Supak, and Elizabeth "Liz" (Glen) Schrader. He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins whose lives he enriched with his kindness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Jerome, Sr. and Bernice B. Guthmann Supak, as well as several uncles and aunts.
Visitation will take place on October 1, 2025, at Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM, concluding at 12:30 PM.
Pallbearers are Kelly Schrader, Dustin Supak, Daniel Supak, William Supak, Ryan Supak,and Douglas Supak.
Honorary Pallbearers are Olin Weems, II, Timothy Weems, Brandon Supak, Robert Supak, Christopher Schrader, Lucy Ness, Crystal Supak, Edie Resendez, and Rebecca Weems.
The family welcomes all who wish to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Johnnie Wayne Supak.
