Joycelene Caroll Odum

Joycelene Caroll Odum, 85, of Katy, Texas, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, in Katy, Texas.

Joycelene was born April 14, 1935, the daughter of Emil and Geraldine (Stolley) Thomas. She grew up in the valley, graduating from San Benito High School. Joycelene was united in marriage to Charles “Bob” Odum. They were members of the Pattison United Methodist Church in Pattison, Texas. Joycelene was a respected executive in the advertising world. She was an avid golfer.

She is survived by her husband:  Charles “Bob” Odum of Katy; son:  Richard Odum of San Angelo; daughter:  Deborah Odum; grandchildren:  Jack Odum, Claire Odum, Ethan Odum, and Shauna Odum; brother:  Emil Thomas and wife, Elaine, of La Grange; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Joycelene is preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Geraldine Thomas, and son, Charles Odum, Jr.
