Lee Charles Goebel

Lee Charles Goebel, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on June 23, 2026, in Katy, Texas. He was born on November 1, 1946, in Bellville, Texas, to Leslie and Frances Pacher Goebel.

Lee Charles grew up in Bellville, surrounded by the rich traditions and values that shaped his life. On May 15, 1971, Lee Charles married Pamela Muery in Bellville, beginning a partnership that was filled with love and devotion until her passing. Together, they nurtured a family defined by warmth, loyalty, and shared joy. Throughout his life, Lee Charles remained closely connected to his roots. He was a dedicated member of the Texas Bow Hunting Club and cherished time outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, or tending to his yard and cattle, Lee Charles found fulfillment in the land and the simple pleasures of country life. He was known for joining community BBQ celebrations, riding his buggy through the woods and pastures, and especially for the countless hours spent at the camp house with family and friends. These moments brought Lee Charles happiness and built the fondest memories for those who loved him. 

Lee Charles’ love for his family was unwavering and deeply felt. He is survived by his sons, Patrick Goebel and Blair (Tammy) Goebel, and Jordan (Krista) Goebel; his grandchildren Avery Ray Goebel, Harper Jo Goebel, Levi Goebel, and Lorelei Goebel; his sisters, Vonnie (Tom) Grawunder and Vickie (Frank) Monk; his nephews Nathan (Angie) Grawunder, Seth Grawunder, and Colby Grawunder; his niece Kyndal (Paul) Donley; and his dear friend Charles Kokemor, with whom he shared more than 40 years of friendship while owning, and operating K&G Fertilizer Spreading Services together. Lee Charles’ presence enriched the lives of all who knew him, and his easy laughter and dependable spirit will be treasured and missed. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pam Goebel; his father, Leslie Goebel; his mother, Frances Goebel; his father-in-law, James Muery; his mother-in-law, Minnerva Muery; and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Muery.

Lee Charles Goebel’s life was a testament to the power of family, friendship, and community. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy and the moments he shared with those around him will endure. He will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
