Lonzo Sequera was born on April 17th, 2025 and passed away on February 1st, 2026. Though his time on this earth was far too brief, Lonzo was a truly happy baby who filled every room with joy the moment he entered it. He was a precious blessing to this family and brought endless smiles to those who were lucky enough to know him. As the first grandson and great-grandson, Lonzo held a unique and cherished place in his family, a little miracle whose arrival brought immeasurable joy and love.
Lonzo loved deeply and purely. He found comfort in being held and cuddled, and never went to sleep without his beloved blue Toy Story blanket close by. He especially adored his mommy. No matter who else was around, the sound of her voice or the sight of her entering the room would instantly light up his face with pure love and happiness. She’ll forever miss watching Lonzo grow every day and his little smile when she would get home to him.
Lonzo loved watching The Backyardigans and would begin dancing as soon as he heard the intro song, filling his family’s hearts with laughter and warmth. His gentle spirit and joyful presence left an imprint that will never fade.
Lonzo is survived by his loving mother, Lorena Flores, and his father, Pablo Sequera. He is lovingly remembered by his aunt Arely Flores, who loved him dearly, and his uncle Jesus Flores III, who loved to make him laugh. He is also cherished by his great aunt and great uncle Claudia and Ignacio Parra, who were always supportive of Lonzo and Lorena.
He is mourned by his grandparents, Jesus Flores Jr. and Lillian Sequera, both of whom adored him and embraced him when they would hold him in their arms. As the first grandson, he held a special place in everyone’s hearts who came across him, a little angel whose love and memory will be treasured forever.
Though the loss of Lonzo has left a profound emptiness in the hearts of his family, they find comfort in knowing that he is now resting peacefully in heaven, wrapped in God’s love, a perfect little angel, Lonzo will forever watch over his family, his light shining brightly above. He will live on through the love, memories, and joy he shared, and the warmth he brought into their lives will continue to be a source of comfort until they meet again.
Lonzo, your mommy and daddy love you so deeply. You will always be their little angel who will forever be in their heart. Rest easy, my love, We love you so much, forever.
