LYDIA COBIO, 87, of Pattison, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Lydia was born August 3, 1931, in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Augustin and Maria (Elizondo) Vasquez. She grew up and attended school in Mexico. Lydia was united in marriage to Francisco Cobio, Sr. They have made their home in Pattison since 1980, where they have been members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A homemaker, Lydia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She treasured the time she was able to spend with her family, especially spoiling her grandbabies, and enjoyed playing bingo and growing plants.
Lydia is survived by her daughters: Rosa Cobio and Alma D. Limas, both of Pattison; son: Frank Cobio, Jr., also of Pattison; grandchildren: Zully Moreno, Nancy Ibarra, Israel Limas, Jr., Frank Cobio, III, Brittany Cobio; seven great-grandchildren; sister: Maria Irma Fernandez Vasquez; brother: Jesus Maria Vasquez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Francisco Cobio, Sr.; her parents; siblings: Anita, Longina, Armando, Beto, Gonzalo, José Alonso, and Aurelio; and her son: René Cobio.
