Margaret "Margi" Cochran Oschwald, beloved artist and cherished family member, passed away on October 31, 2025, in Bellville, Texas. Born on August 30, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Jay LeRoy Schoble and Helen Shants.

Margaret led a life rich in creativity and accomplishment. She received her education at Springside School in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, followed by Briarcliff Junior College from 1943 to 1945. She pursued her artistic aspirations at the Philadelphia Museum School of Industrial Art from 1946 to 1948. Known professionally as Margi Cochran, she established herself as a talented oil painter, earning numerous awards and international recognition for her stunning works.
