Margie Ellen (Ferguson) Williams, a beloved matriarch and dedicated nurse in the medical field, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, in Brenham, Texas. Born May 27, 1934, in Bellville, Texas, Margie was a cherished member of her community and a presence to all who knew her.Margie graduated from Hempstead High School in 1950, after which she spent many years nurturing her passion for caring for others as a nurse. Her dedication to her profession and her patience was evident throughout her career, and she touched countless lives with her compassionate spirit.Margie's personality shone brightly; she had a genuine love for engaging with strangers and cherished her time spent with family. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life—she loved the Lord with all of her heart. Margie enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including sewing, attending church on Sundays, solving puzzle books, watching classic movies, and exploring new restaurants.She was preceded in death by her parents, Feliz and Melissa Fischer Ferguson, her husband, Sammy Williams, and her daughter, Lynn Cole. Margie leaves behind her cherished daughter, Joyce (Ed) Diguardi, and her son Mark Williams, who will carry fond memories of her unwavering love and guidance.Pallbearers are Adam McKay, Kyle Huff, Trey Rodriguez, Jorge Rodriguez, Michael Corgey, and Chad Huff.Honorary Pallbearers are Russell Nigh, Tanner Corgey, Rhys Rodriguez, Owen Yates, Wyatt Caldwell, Walker Caldwell, Daniel Cole, Weston Cole, and Camron Tezeno. A visitation and funeral service to honor Margie's life take place on October 3, 2025, at Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville, Texas. The visitation began at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
