Mary Kathleen Lynch, a cherished soul, departed this world on November 30, 2025, in Katy, Texas, leaving behind a legacy that will resonate through the hearts and lives she touched. Born on June 9, 1952, Mary exemplified a life rich with purpose, dedication, and a passion for creativity that enveloped her career and personal interests.

As owner and operator of “The Great Frame Up,” Mary ran the framing shop for 4 years, where customers would bring memorable items to frame – some challenging project like a giant Anaconda skin, front fender of a Nascar Vehicle, and other unique items. Her entrepreneurial spirit was complemented by her academic pursuits; a proud graduate of Archbishop Chapelle High School in 1971, Metairie, La, Mary went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Writing from Cameron University Lawton, Ok. With her newfound knowledge, she made significant contributions in the Oil & Gas industry, authoring oil field equipment handbooks for engineers and field personnel.

Mary’s hobbies and interests included crafting, art, avid reader of science fiction, romance, and classic novels. Mary also enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, painting art and coloring books.

Aside from her professional achievements, Mary cherished her role within her community, at Assumption Catholic Church of Duncan, Oklahoma, and the surrounding area. Her unwavering commitment to service shone brightly as she facilitated Eagle Scout Merit Badge training and dedicated her time to fundraising for Scout Troop 404. Additionally, her involvement with Karen's Girl Scouts troop enriched the lives of many and empowered future generations.

Mary's legacy is carried forth by her beloved family. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael and her children, Dennis Christopher Lynch (Leslie Rotenberry) of Wylie, Texas, and Karen Anne Roegge (Steven) of Carrollton, Texas. Her grandchildren, Blake Vick-Lynch, Ian Vick-Lynch, Parker Vick-Lynch, William Joey Lynch, and Bennett Roegge, as well as a loving great granddaughter, will forever honor her memory. Mary also leaves behind her cherished siblings: brother Michael Rhodes (Nancy) of Louisiana, sister Patricia Rhodes Lasome (Michael) of Maryland, and sister Ruth Houser of Brookshire, Texas.

Though her parents, Dusty Rhodes and Dorothy Kellam Rhodes, precede her in death. Mary's spirit will continue to blaze brightly through the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. As her family gathers to reminisce about her life, it is with fondness and gratitude that they celebrate the indelible mark she left on their hearts.

In every frame that adorned her shop, in each book she cherished, and in the vibrant blossoms of her garden, Mary Kathleen Lynch's spirit will triumphantly endure, an eternal testament to a life well-lived.
