Rebecca Ann Sanchez (Becky Moreno)

Rebecca Ann Sanchez, “Becky Moreno,” 56, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 7, 2024, after a brave battle with ALS.

Becky was born January 8, 1968, in Hempstead, Texas, the daughter of ReFugio "Joe" and Antonia Moreno. She worked many years as a caregiver for the elderly, where she made a lot of friends and impacted a lot of lives. In her spare time, Becky enjoyed being outdoors with her dogs on her mini farm. She was a great person, full of love and compassion for others, and will be extremely missed by many.

She is survived by her companion: Jose Acosta; daughter: Anita Urbina of Bellville; sons: Jose Urbina and wife, Erica, of Bellville, Carlos Urbina and wife, Sophia Chavez, of Brookshire, and Alejandro Urbina of Bellville; grandchildren: Christopher Issac Urbina, Penelope Rosalie Urbina, Chloe Urbina, Israel Urbina, Adam Moreno, Jr., Jazalynn Razo, and Violet Rodriguez; brother: Pete Moreno and wife, Julia, of Katy; sister-in-law: Christine Moreno of San Antonio; and numerous family members and friends.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents: Refugio "Joe" and Antonia Moreno; sisters: Ruth Compeon and Lupe Fletcher; and brothers: Henry Moreno and Benny Moreno.
