Rickey Ford, born on December 2, 1961, in Quincy, Florida, peacefully passed away on July 4, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Rickey spent his formative years in Midway, Florida, where he built lifelong friendships and created lasting memories. Throughout his life, he remained resilient, facing life's challenges with determination and an unwavering spirit. His journey—from Quincy to Midway and later Tallahassee—was marked by perseverance, compassion, and a deep love for his family.

Rickey leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Annie Ford Hampton; his loving sister, Temeka Ford; his beloved daughter, Angela Cherise McCall; and his treasured granddaughters, Ariana Cherise McCall (13) and Ayriane Jasiah McCall (10). He also leaves behind a host of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Ford, and his brothers, Joey Ford and Mark Ford. Though they departed before him, we find comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.

Rickey's presence was a gift to everyone who knew him. His strength, love, laughter, and enduring spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind. While our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we celebrate a life well lived and give thanks for the memories that will remain with us forever.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever missed.

A Father's Love Lives On,

Though your heart may ache today,

And tears may gently fall,

Know your father's love surrounds you still,

The greatest gift of all.

In every smile, in every dream,

His spirit will remain.

A guiding light, a faithful heart,

Through sunshine and through rain.

To Angela, Ariana, and Ayriane—Hold close the love he gave.

For fathers never truly leave;

Their love is ours to save.

His voice lives on in cherished memories,

His strength within your hearts.

Though time may pass and seasons change,

A father's love never departs.
