Robby Osborn, a cherished member of the Bellville community and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2026, in Bellville, Texas. Born on November 7, 1933, in Mount Calm, Texas, Robby lived a life marked by steadfast dedication to his family, faith, and community. 

A son of Revis and Eunice Russell Osborn, Robby was raised in Rawls, Texas, before experiencing diverse communities in Stuttgart, Germany; Santa Fe; Pasadena; and ultimately making Bellville his lifelong home. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, and following his service, he built a rewarding career with HL&P, dedicating over 25 years to the company. His commitment was deeply appreciated by colleagues and friends alike. Robby’s faith was a central pillar of his life. As an elder and board member of the Christian Faith Church, he was known for his unwavering spiritual devotion and his love of the church community. Always smiling and ever approachable, he cherished visiting with people and was a familiar, warm presence to all who knew him. An individual with wide-ranging interests, Robby enjoyed hunting and fishing, pastimes that brought him joy and connection to nature. He also valued his involvement with the Royal Rangers, reflecting his passion for mentoring and community engagement. Robby’s personal life was enriched by his marriage to Cheryl Johnson Hunt, whom he married on January 4, 2014, in Bellville. Their partnership was one of mutual respect and deep affection. He is survived by Cheryl Hunt Osborn, his loving wife. 

His legacy endures through his beloved children: Robin (Tracey) Osborn, Lauren (Lloyd) Clark, Kendall (Debi) Osborn, Heather (Mark) Turk, Eugene (Jessica) Hunt, and Sonia Hunt. Robby was a proud grandfather to twenty-four grandchildren, including Brandon (Helen) Osborn, Ashley (Chad) Crawley, Kevin (Danica) Osborn, Thomas (Jessica) Clark, Russell (Candi) Clark, Charis (Mike) Vela, Jeffrey Clark, Melinda (Royce) Medina, Lindsey (Chris) Gordon, Emily (Brad) Croxton, Eleanor (Colton) Mason, Ethan Clark, Sarah (Brandon) Corona, Rachel (Jonathan) Trevino, William Barrett, Travis “Buck” Turk, Jacob (Maci) Hunt, Casey Hunt, Lilly Schroeder, Jurnee Hunt, Colt Hunt, Trace Hunt, Jared McCarty, Abigail (Kyle) Johnston, and Anna Froehlich. His family circle extends further to include thirty-four great-grandchildren testament to the profound and lasting impact he had on generations. 

Robby was preceded in death by his parents, Revis and Eunice Osborn, his first wife, Jane Elizabeth Dean Osborn (2009), stepfather, Mr. Goode, brother Don Goode, and sister Linda Clinton. He earned an associate’s degree, underscoring his commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth. His warmth, kindness, and approachable nature will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Robby Osborn’s life remains a beacon of unwavering faith, dedication to family, and joyful fellowship. His memory will be cherished with great reverence and love.
