Terry Wayne Mobley

Terry “Bruce” Wayne Mobley, 69, of Katy, Texas, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Terry was born July 9, 1953, in Houston, Texas, to Joseph Wilson Mayon and Frankie D. (Mobley) Frelix. He grew up in Brookshire, Texas, graduating from Royal High school. Terry was an over-the-road truck driver. He was a leader in the Royal 4H Club. In his spare time, Terry was an avid sports fan, history buff, reader, and music lover.

At an early age, he confessed his hope in Christ and became a member of Zion Hills Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sisters: Jackie Mobley of San Francisco, CA, Patricia Hall and husband, Larry, of Haywood, CA, and Carolyn Broussard and husband, James, of Killeen; brother: James “Larry” Pitre of Houston; nieces: Lakisha Artis and Tevin Broussard; nephews: Bryan Fields, Marcus Pitre, Erik Mitchell, Zaire Artis, and Bishop Artis; aunts; uncles; numerous cousins; and many friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Mayon and Frankie Mobley Frelix.
