Wilfred Robert Neumann, a beloved figure in his community and a devoted family man, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at the age of 99 in Bellville, Texas. Born on December 8, 1925, in Kenney, Texas, he embodied the spirit of a true country boy who dedicated much of his life to his farm and the land he loved. Wilfred received his education at Sempronius School in Kenney, where the foundation of his strong work ethic was laid. On October 30, 1954, he married Ella Mae Kokemor in Phillipsburg, and together they created a warm and loving home. He found happiness in his hobbies, including coon hunting, tending to his tractors, and engaging in ranching and farming. His connection to the land and its rhythms defined much of his life and left an indelible mark on those who knew him.
Wilfred is survived by his loving son, Bobby (Peggy) Neumann; his cherished grandson, Brian (Summer) Neumann; granddaughter, Amy Neumann; and his great-granddaughter, Kylee Neumann; nieces, Idell Mertz, Charlotte (David) Hoff, Janice Kokemor, and Peggy Schmidt.
