Willie Harris Farmer, a dedicated underwriter for a marine insurance company and a beloved member of his community, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Bellville, Texas, surrounded by his family. Born on December 29, 1943, in Houston, Texas, Willie’s life was marked by hard work, unwavering family devotion, and a generous spirit that touched all who knew him. 

The son of Jasper Newton Farmer and Rose Mary Kaptchinskie, Willie grew up in Channelview, Texas. Throughout his life, he resided in various places, including Kirkland, Washington, and Spring, Texas, before making Bellville, Texas, his cherished home. On March 1, 1969, he married Caroline Marie Boeer, with whom he shared a lifelong partnership filled with love and mutual support. 

Willie was not only a family man but also a committed and active member of his community. He was a proud member of the Bellville KC Council 9268, where he served with distinction as grand knight for several years. Additionally, he was a committed member of the 4th Degree Council 2103, contributing his time and energy to serve others. 

Known for his hardworking nature and ever-ready helping hand, Willie found joy in various hobbies such as tinkering in his shop, clay target shooting, and fishing. These interests underscored his appreciation for craftsmanship and the outdoors, reflecting a well-rounded and fulfilling life. 

Willie is lovingly remembered and survived by his wife, Caroline Farmer of Bellville; his son, Shawn Farmer and his wife Lisa of Katy; and his daughter, Brandi Irick and her husband Matthew of Fulshear. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Alex Farmer and his wife Kaney of Conroe, Haley Farmer of Houston, Jake Farmer of Spring, Charlotte and Sophie Irick of Fulshear, Angelique Maldonado and her husband Angel of Katy, and Troy Pulaski Jr. and his wife Amy of Katy. Furthermore, Willie’s warmth and kindness have extended to his great-grandchildren, Noah Maldonado and Castiel Maldonado of Katy. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Rose Farmer; his great-granddaughter, Aila Maldonado; and his brother-in-law, Wayne Kitzmann.

Pallbearers are Alex Farmer, Jake Farmer, Angel Maldonado, Troy Pulaski, Jr., Glenn Gaddy, and Richard Krenek. 

Honorary Pallbearers are Jack Farmer and William Boeer.

Willie Harris Farmer’s steadfast commitment to family, faith, and community leaves an enduring imprint. His memory will be treasured dearly by all who had the privilege to know him, and his spirit of generosity and dedication will continue to inspire. May he rest in peace.
